For this project you will need to know how to use a IR sensor and remote with an arduino. You can look at the sample code below to get you started. This project uses a universal remote you can buy at most stores. You will also need some hardware such as 1/2" 4-40 screws, 1 inch 4-40 screws , 1.5 inch 4-40 screws, 4-40 Tap Set, four 12D nails, LED, 330 Ohm resistors, arduino uno, two 360 degree servos with servo arms. 4 micro metal gear servos with servo arms, small needles, wiring, batteries with case and tools to build. You can find the hardware at most hardware stores. You may have to order the rest.
You can add foam to the gripers with some sand paper glued to the foam for more grip on objects. :)
For this project you will need to know how to use a IR sensor and remote with an arduino nano. You can look at the sample code below to get you started. This project uses a universal remote you can buy at most stores. You will also need some hardware such as four 1/2" 4-40 screws, 4-40 Tap Set, two 12D nails, four LED's, one 330 Ohm resistor, three one amp diodes, arduino nano, one micro 360 degree servos with servo arms., one micro servo with servo arm, small needles, wiring, one 9v battery , one 9v battery clamp , small switch(3.5mm by 9mm), IR sensor, two 1/8" rods and tools and glue to build. You can find the hardware at most hardware stores. You may have to order the rest :)
You can use any color rubber band you like for the wheels. We picked red for this project.
